Not only does Clixsense pay you to surf the web, they also can deliver targeted website traffic.  I purchased traffic from Clixsense in 2011 and was very pleased with the results.   You can buy many different types of exposure from Clixsense.  There's Micro, Mini, Standard, and Extended.  All these refer to, is the length of time your ad will be displayed.

If you are already a user of Clixsense, you know about the different size ads.  Micro ads, last 3 seconds.  That means the person viewing the ad must do so, for 3 seconds.  These are the cheapest ads available at Clixsense, and they can't be targeted. 

You can get up to 5000 micro credits from Clixsense for $9.50.  That means 5000 people will view your website for 3 seconds each.  The standard ads, last 30 seconds, and cost ten times more.  If you have already joined Clixsense then you've already surfed many of these ads.  Each 30 seconds ad, viewed by a user, gives them $.01. 

If you plan to use Clixsense for both getting paid to surf, and advertising, then you can use your Clixsense balance to pay for advertising.  I was able to earn $2.40 clicking ads in under one month, without any referrals, and it allowed me to buy 1000 ads for free. 

You better make sure your website can handle the traffic.  It will pour in very fast one your decide to advertise.
